Thankful For…

Standard

this being the last post that is about discontinued products 🙂

Last year, my sister, Zoe, and I went to a Stampin’ Up! event in Kitchener.  Besides spending an amazing day learning new techniques, spending the day with other crafters, and getting great “swag”.  There was a group of us that met in the afternoon for a swap.  This was the swap card I made.

Nutty or Nice?

Standard

This is the first of a few posts featuring previous stamp sets and framelits – if you have them, great! If not, they are discontinued 😦

My sister and I were at the Formosa 30th Annual Craft Show last year – if you were there and supported us, or the event, Thank You!  We unfortunately won’t be there this year as we have an event in Mississauga to attend the same day but I urge you to support our local artisans on November 14th, 2015.

These were a few cards I had made for the show.

Just to be clear.. I’m not married.  In the event that I ever become married again, I think my sister will be in charge of disposing of my craft supplies — which I fully expect to be packed up and transported to her craft room along with my tanzanite ring 🙂

Stamping on Candles

Standard

I had so much fun with this project, I made candles for a week.  The design possibilities are endless.  Make them to coordinate with a room, for a birthday or special event (like Easter,) or for inspiration.

There is a great tutorial on SplitCoastSTampers, click on this link to view

And a video:

My examples were for Easter.  I became catholic during Easter and wanted to make something for a few people that had touched my life.

I suggest stamping off before stamping on the tissue.  I found the ink would run a little and the images weren’t as crisp as I wanted.
