Good morning everyone!
First, I’m changing things up!
I’m going to try to keep to a weekly schedule of blog posts:
- Sunday – Sketches, a posting of an outline of a card that you’ll be able to use to create something based on the design.
- Monday – Creative Challenge
- Tuesday – Crafty Quote
- Wednesday – Weekly Updates
- Thursday – Tips & Techniques
- Friday – Mashup, you’ll have 3 options, basically two ideas or a mash/combination of the two.
- Saturday – Mish-Mash Saturday Morning Post
The content for my Friday Sketch and Saturday Mashup are from other blogs (I’ve listed them under “Blogroll” down the right hand side, just click on their button if you want more information or to see past and current challenges that I may not have posted.) I like these two types of inspiration as they cover both paper crafting and are also suitable for mixed media or other art/crafting mediums. In addition, I’ll be adding the creative challenges, continuing on from last week, these will also be weekly, posting on Monday.
I’m also going to work on my photography skills so I can properly post my own creations. Throughout each week (depending on when other content comes out) you might find stamping video updates/tutorials, books and recipes that I like and for the next little while I’ll also be moving content from an old blog over so that everything is in one place.
Now.. on to family news..
We have a new addition to our family, Pyewacket 🙂 He is the cutest little thing although he’s in the attacking stage and we’re all hoping he’ll grow out of that very soon!
My daughter is finishing up her exams this week and taking her drivers test so she’s incredibly stressed out at the moment.
My husband is spending his free time watching hockey now that we’ve subscribed to every channel necessary — don’t get me started on BellTV or the crazy phone calls this week to buy the 4 different channel packages necessary to see the TML games.. hopefully we now have them all!
As for me, well, I’m spending more time in my craft room working on a few projects — thanks to my sister, who is also a craftaholic and despite her crazy, insanely busy schedule, manages to spend an hour or two a day in her craft room. She inspires me to make more time for my hobby/obsession. Oh, and I have just discovered a craftaholic anonymous website — I should probably join 🙂
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
